At the end of the day, it’s about people.
Technology is great. It can certainly do a lot – except design itself, deploy itself, and have meetings about itself to plan for “what’s next”. It certainly can’t rally the team when things aren’t going well or come up with a crazy idea “that just might work”. At least not yet anyway.
Yes technology is great, but it takes people to turn possibility into reality.
It has been our experience that to help clients achieve the success they are counting on technology to provide, the following “people-driven” success factors must be in place.
Leadership – Those on both sides of the team, vendor and client alike, having the skill and the will to set the direction and stay the course.
Structure – Charting that course with an awareness of the true effort needed for the journey with a constant eye on the destination.
Value – Establishing benefits to be realized at all levels.
Teamwork – Working together, communicating always.
Alignment – Ensuring that every step taken, large or small, is moving everyone closer to realize the value and achievement being pursued.
